As a type A personality, being stressed and overwhelmed was a normal state of mind.  Lisa found yoga and quickly discovered that yoga brought peace and calm, not only in the studio on her mat, but off the mat in her everyday life as well.

Nearing the end of her 32-year career as a high school teacher, Lisa decided that she wanted to help others heal their minds and bodies through yoga.  She earned her 200-hour training at Sumits Yoga in Littleton which focused on a heated Vinyasa series and completed an additional 200 hours in Bikram-style yoga with Odyssey Yoga in Longmont.

Lisa, a Colorado native, has been married to her college sweetheart for 34 years.  They have a beautiful daughter who is attending pharmacy school at the University of Texas.  Scout is their 5-year old German Shepherd who provides plenty of love and laughter.  Lisa enjoys gardening, quilting, and watching the Rockies and the Broncos.

“I’m so excited for the grand opening of Haute Yoga Colorado.  We have lots of great stuff planned.  I am looking forward to meeting new and seasoned students!  See you on your mat later this summer.”
