Community Food Share was established in 1981 as a non-profit agency to tackle the expanding hunger issues in Boulder county. In the first six months of operation, Community Food Share distributed 48,000 pounds of food.  In the year 2018, Community Food Share distributed close to one million pounds of food each month to those in Boulder and Broomfield Counties.

Fresh healthy food is distributed to families through Community Food Share’s on-site pantry program.  Participants may visit one time per week to select fresh produce, milk, healthy grains, and non-perishable food and other staples.

Emergency food sources are also available for families who are in immediate need of food due to limited financial resources or to those who do not have access to food for the time being.

Haute Yoga Colorado is a proud sponsor of Community Food Share collecting monetary and food donations through the Dana program.

Dana Giving:
Join us for our weekly donation class. Check our Class Schedule as class offerings vary from week to week.

While Dana is always discretionary, all monies raised through our weekly donation class will be donated to a noteworthy (local) organization.  The HYC community may nominate and vote for local organization to be the featured each quarter. (See Nomination Guidelines)

Dana classes do not count against punch card classes. A suggested $5 donation is appreciated.
