Colorado Horse Rescue was established in 1986 providing shelter and rehabilitation for abused and neglected horses.  Many horses are surrendered from loving homes for a variety of reasons.  Other horses are saved from abusive situations, livestock auctions, or other dangerous circumstances.

On average, Colorado Horse Rescue cares for 45 or more horses per month. In 2019, twenty-two horses were purchased from local livestock auctions, 163 horses were provided with safe alternative situations, 61 horses were adopted to loving homes, and 148 volunteers gave 11,382 hours of time.

Haute Yoga Colorado is a proud sponsor of Colorado Horse Rescue donating proceeds from the Dana Community Class program.

Dana Giving:
Join us for our weekly donation class. Check our Class Schedule as class offerings vary from week to week.

While Dana is always discretionary, all monies raised through our weekly donation class will be donated to a noteworthy (local) organization.  The HYC community may nominate and vote for local organization to be the featured each quarter. (See Nomination Guidelines)

Dana classes do not count against punch card classes. A suggested $5 donation is appreciated.
